PADI Sea Turtle Awareness Specialty

Sea Turtle Awareness Distinctive Specialty course introduces scuba divers to basic sea turtle identification and conservation. You will learn about preserving the aquatic environment and about sea turtle species common in temperate or tropical waters. Students will be given the knowledge and skills needed to identify turtles and record sightings. Students will also learn about the decline in sea turtle populations, importance of sea turtles to marine biodiversity and what they can do to reduce the loss of sea turtles worldwide.

Class starts Friday night at 6pm at Loggerhead Marinelife Center and Saturday 8am  at Jupiter Dive Center for the 2 tank boat dive.

$159 for the class, 2 tank turtle ID boat dive, certification.
