PCH Scuba is teaming up with ECO Dive center this year to help support a great cause- The Coastal Cleanup Day!! We are looking for a few good divers to help join in. We need 4 EXPERIENCED beach divers to help people get in and out of the surf. We also need 20 divers to dive and cleanup the pier! First come first serve!

Only once a year divers are allowed to dive the Santa Monica pier. Some of the more unusual items found underwater in recent years were a prom dress, voodoo dolls, a briefcase full of crackers, guns and switchblades and a bridal gown.

History: Coastal Cleanup Day (CCD) began in 1985 and has grown into a huge annual event. Every state with a coastline participates, including the Great Lakes states, and even some inland states Santa Monica clean river and lake shores. The one-day cleanup is international event and last count, over 50 nations participated-and may be the largest volunteer day on the planet.
