Kapuluan Coconut wants to empower locals who want to make a change in their community. One of our ideas is to help those who want to help the environment through local beach clean ups. In many cases those who want to help don’t have the reach to get volunteers and make an impact. That’s where Kapuluan Coconut & Friends come in.

We met Jammy, who started Plastic Free Bohol, who has been doing beach clean ups for months in Bohol, Philippines and was inspired by her story.

Our first beach clean up hosted by Jammy will be held on November 19th at 7am Libaong Beach, Panglao Bohol. We will be cleaning the area between Amarela Resort and Blue Sky Resort.

She will be providing sacks for picking up trash.

What to bring:
Gloves
Extra t-shirt
and wear sunscreen
