What is PADI Women’s Dive Day?
The day is to focus on “shared adventure, community, passion and ocean conservation.”
Women are now a third of the diving population and we would like to encourage more women to dive and explore the underwater world.
Part of this is having the chance to meet each other women divers.
With this in mind, PADI Women’s Day is a great opportunity for female divers to meet while helping to clean up a small patch of one of our local dive sites.
I can’t join you. Is there something else I can do?
PADI are also hosting some virtual events for those that are unable to come diving.
Check out their Facebook and Instagram pages for 24 hours of PADI Women’s Day posts, videos, live interactions etc. They have also begun posting to PADI.com/women and PADI.com/community about the events. You can also follow them using the hashtags #padiwomen and #padiwomensdiveday
