The vessel sank with the cargo. Over time it washes out of the hold onto the sea floor.

Strong rain and wind in the previous week caused big scale flooding which washed a lot of debris into the ocean. There was an unusual amount of plastic bags floating in the water column. Due to the strong currents we only picked up a part of them.
