Gathering and cleaning up of debris around the moorings, at Caves Cove. Caves Cove is a bay at Hook Island, the Whitsundays. It is often frequented by boats carrying divers and snorkellers. Whether debris is dropped overboards or blown overboard accidentally, it is still important to remove it to preserve the beautiful condition of the Whitsundays and the beautiful reefs surrounding it. By getting people involved we aim to promote awareness and conservations so that we can keep the Whitsundays pristine for our future generations.

We are lucky enough to carry several divers on our vessels, so we can utilise the many hands we have available for this clean up. We aim to get our friends and family on board for this debris clean up.

By diving the area surrounding the moorings and where people quite frequently anchor we hope to pick up and dispose of any items that have accidentally blown overboard whilst the boat was moored/anchored. Quite often people forget to tie things down on the boats and they don't realise it's gone until it's too late.
