Join divers from Motor City Scuba and Snorkel as we dive the north shore fishing pier of Belle Isle to pick up litter and debris.

We’ll be running a beach cleanup and Dive Against Debris, then reporting data to Project AWARE and the Alliance for the Great Lakes for their research.

If as divers we don’t care enough to clean and pick up the trash underwater – who will? Debris and garbage left in the water is a huge problem. Unfortunately the lakes and rivers are sometimes treated like everyone’s back alley
