Tools will be provided but we encourage you to have your own. These tools include: gloves, mesh bag & cutting device. These will not be included in your package but available for purchase at a discounted rate. After the effects of hurricane Irma marine debris has been a issue of great importance in the Florida area. A lot of trash has made its way into the waters surrounding the beautiful Florida Keys. This event will educate divers on current debris issues, as well as prepare them to successfully and safely remove debris while diving.
The event begins with a morning orientation, followed by a two tank afternoon dive trip to find and safely remove debris from our reefs!
**Mandatory Orientation** will begin Friday at 10:00 am, and will be located at 100800 Overseas Hwy Key Largo 33037. This training session is mandatory for assigning roles during the dive and learning proper handling procedures while underwater! Children are welcome! They need to be at least 10 to dive (certified Juniors) and at least 12 to receive the DAD Certification!
Together, we can take action and help safeguard the future against marine debris. Call to reserve: (305) 451-7171
