The beautiful Rivelin Valley has the River Rivelin meandering through coming down from the Hallam Moors until it flows into the River Loxley.

Much used for many leisure activities there is plenty of evidence of this with bottles, cans and debris left from these activities.

We are spending the day clearing any debris from the river, the Park Rangers Department have agreed to remove this for recycling.

The aim is to stop the debris making its way any further down the river and making this historic area clean again.
