Deep-sea mining is not a solution to the climate crisis. It is rather yet another unsustainable path associated with tremendous uncertainty and risk of exacerbating the current global crisis. It will only lead to irreversible destabilization of vital ocean's ecosystems with unforeseeable impacts and extinction of largely undocumented species.
