"CleanUpMalaysia", a member of "Clean Up the World" 2012

updates

"CleanUpMalaysia" is the name for our 2012 membership of "Clean Up the World".

The name "CleanUpMalaysia" and website (www.cleanupmalaysia.com) were coined by EduCatMalaysia an organization founded by David Bradley and his wife Gudrun Nienaber to beome the CSR arm of their company Educat Sdn Bhd.

"CleanUpMalaysia" 2012 is a joint venture between Educat Sdn Bhd, The Malaysia Australia Business Council (MABC), USCI, Various Rotary clubs in Malaysia (spearheaded by the Rotary Club of Bandar Bukit Tinggi) and The Expat Group (TEG). This JV was formed with the specific mission to "clean up" Malaysia's precious waterways by organising and promoting specific local "Clean Up" days at strategic locations and implementing an ongoing environmental awareness education program for learning institutions and work-places.

Most of our activities this year will culminate on the third weekend in September (September 14-16, 2012) which is designated as "World Clean Up" weekend when tens of millons of individuals all over the world will be undertaking local "Clean Up" activities.  Please refer to www.cleanuptheworld.org

"Clean Up the World" is recognised and supported by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP)
