Additional Information
The event contributing to pollution is probably mostly day dive boats as we found most debris on sites with day boats.
A camera. which we did have on the picture as we gave it back to the diver on another boat. The diver just lost it an hour before so he was happy!
Plastic Bags: seen as Jelly Fish by a lot of animals
Plastic Ropes: always dangerous, also for divers
Plastic Bottles: so dirtyon the sea bed
Comments and Feedback
Most reefs visited on our liveaboard are quite clean in the deep south. We often found debris exactly below where the boats are moored. It was fun to organize this for the entire group of divers. i brought the 2 bags to collect the debris and the awareness amongst divers is quite interesting to see. Suggestion is to enable "liveaboard dive against debris" where you can report on a whole tour of dive sites.
We actually collected this debris on our latest liveaboard during 20 dives on different sites going deep south in the red sea. I've put it on Abu Dabab as we found several items there, and we have dived here 3 times.
