The pipe we recovered appears to have been the post for a sign from the parking lot of this location. The pipe was located in the center of the search area, 200 feet from the dock to the east.
Comments and Feedback
The silt was so deep that once kicked up the turbid waters made even reading our gauges impossible. We never would have found the pipe but for the Search and Rescue training we were doing at the site. We were literally mucking through the silt with our hands and found the debris.
