The dive shop gave me a tank with only 100bar, and by the time i got to the dive site, set up gear and realized it they were already gone...so I had to just settle for a very shallow and rather short dive. Turned out good however and was able to cut free a large mass of ropes and nets. Long pipe also.

This is our most used local dive site. My scuba club removes random garbage they come across on every dive but we wanted to make a focused day out of it and will continue to do so in the future. Everyone had a great time!! Can't wait to get my AWARE Start up kit when everything gets back to some value of normalcy.
10 divers in teams of 3 or 4 with a plan to safely remove filament line. Diver 1 for cutting, Diver 2 to take the line diver 1 cuts and assist if diver 1 gets tangled, Diver 3 as safety diver watching divers 1 & 2 and able to ascend and whistle for help if 1 & 2 get in trouble. It worked very well and everyone had a great time. Picked up whatever other trash they found while making their way around the quarry edge. This was our first event. Next time I will track more carefully what came out of the water. I took pictures of what came back but didn't count exact numbers. Great success with lots of people on land and kayaking around the edge as well, with a bbg lunch between dives. :)

The dive site is a council signed ‘no fishing zone’ yet there are still 20+ people who fish here at night...
