Hae Shin: A documentary about ADS 126

South Korean Marine Debris Documentary
updates

It is with great joy that I announce the unofficial trailer and crowdfunding campaign for my upcoming documentry, Hae Shin.

This documentary is mainly about my marine debris cleanup efforts here in South Korea. Since 2016 I adopted ADS 126 and have been doing regular surveys there. I have tried over and over to get my efforts out into the local domain in hopes I would be able to gather volunteers and grow into something large enough to effect local governments to look at this issue more deeply. I made terrible youtube videos, and tried posting in various groups about what I do. Few if any would share my story.

Finally I decided to hire a professional videographer to shoot what I initially thought would be a short 5 minute promo video I could share. It has grown into a full blown documentary project large enough for film and documentary festivals to consider showing.

Much work remains to be done, but the project is moving along nicely. With your support, we can turn this into something the entire dive community can be proud of.
