This is an annual Reef Check area. 2018 was first clean-up. In 2019, we extended the survey area, finding more debris outside our original area. We had no debris in the original survey area. Most debris was discarded fishing nets and related ropes

This dive site is part of the core area of a marine park.
There was not too much underwater debris on this day.

Some under water nets were spotted, but we forgot to bring our cutting tools. Fishing is banned in the core areas of the marine park, so we do not know why there should be abandoned pieces of fishing nets.
